The first book I read about triathlon. Excellent primer. |
Well, maybe THIS was the first book. Very well written, hilarious, and very, very entertaining. Great for a sense of perspective. |
A new addition to the library. I'm still working my way through it. So far so good. |
Good. Definitely not a beginner's book, though. |
Excellent, excellent book! Come to think of it, maybe THIS is the first one I ever read about triathlon... |
I pick this one up when I'm delusional. Great for motivating me to keep going and keep dreaming of that Ironman someday. |
Another favorite. A collection of stories about folks' first experiences with Ironman. Definitely a dream-inspiring book. |
Outstanding book. If you only read one book about running, this is the one! Eliminated a lot of discomfort and pain, and made the running easier. Really. |
A bit unrealistic for those of us who most definitely are not natural runners. Good read, though. |
As the title suggests, this is a REAL beginner's book. Lots of good info for newbies. Also written by a woman affiliated with our current gym in Indianapolis. |
A little more advanced. Has some interesting training tips to try. I'm still slow, though. |
Must-have for bike dummies like me. Can't believe I used to know all of this, about 30 years ago... |
Collection of articles from Bicycling magazine. Interesting mix of articles run from very beginner to things I would never try in traffic. |
A must-have. Unlearn the bad swimming habits you were taught as a kid, and become much more efficient. Save that energy for the bike and run. |
A wonderful little book of training-inspiring affirmations. Great for those low-motivation days. |
Fun book! Great for picking up and opening to random pages. |
Very informative. Not one you sit down and read cover-to-cover, but lots of good information. |
